Bicycle is from Wal-Mart. Chain stay on top is to prevent chain from derailing to the inside when shifting from second to first gear. Without it, it would derail off the chain wheel and then derail off the motor cog. The pulley gear was taken from an unused derailleur since the original is a bit small and low quality. Looks like any standard derailleur pulley can be used. The box in the middle is the BMS and the battery is below it. The battery is a LifePo4 36v 12ah Lithium battery. My old box simply had the battery held down with a strap.
